Maria is a senior public relations and brand communications professional with an extensive expertise in developing and implementing communication strategies including brand and corporate plans, awareness/CSR campaigns, sponsorships and celebrity endorsements for leading international and national brands in various sectors, such as Retail, FMCGs, Beauty, Technology and TelCos.
She started her career in Leo Burnett and has worked for a number of corporate and brand communications projects from companies, such as Publicis, AssetOgilvy, Civitas and V+O Group.
Maria has handled key-accounts for a variety of clients, such as P&G, COSMOTE, WIND, LG, Ferrero, Nestle, Dixons South-East Europe, Sarantis Group, Mars, IKEA, LIDL, Morgan Stanley, Blackrock, MasterCard, Lamda Development, Hellas Gold, Aegean, Coca-Cola HBC, etc. She has also contributed to the design and development of corporate communications plans for key Institutions and Organisations, such as NBG, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, PQH, Intrum, Onassis Foundation, SNFCC, and others. With experience in strategic planning, media relations, corporate and public affairs, crisis management, press office handling and event planning and execution, Maria is active in the communications sector for the past 13 years.
She holds a BA in International and European Relations from the University of Piraeus and an MA in Media andCommunications from City University London. She is fluent in English and German, while she also holds a certificate in Spanish.
